Session data for credit aggregators.
Read the sessions of chargers on Plugchoice through one API, with the owner's consent, next to the back office the charger already uses. In the Netherlands you also get a spot in our app, where owners pick their credit aggregator.
What you get
| Charger | Started | kWh | MID | Location | Owner |
|---|
Session data for registration
kWh, meter readings and times per session, in one format for every brand, with what a registration asks for: the address of the location, the owner's email and the MID status of the charger model when we know it. The rows are examples. API documentation
Onboarding
Create your customers' chargers through the API, or let Auto Connect do it: the app sets up the owner's charger, without an OCPP address or a charger ID. Then the owner gives you access with one tap, without sharing a password. Auto Connect works with Alfen, Easee, Peblar, Ratio, SolarEdge, Volt Time and Zaptec, depending on the model. A spot on our website and in our app
We add you to the integrations page of plugchoice.com and announce the integration together on LinkedIn. In the Netherlands you also appear in the ERE list of the Plugchoice app, where owners choose their credit aggregator, and in the ERE tab of the web portal.
Works with every OCPP 1.6J back office
The owner keeps their back office
Chargers of every brand connect to Plugchoice once over OCPP 1.6J, and you read their sessions through one API, with no integration, contract or export per brand. We pass each charger's OCPP traffic on to the back office it already had, so you need no agreement with that back office. How the OCPP proxy works

How owners connect to you
The owner signs up on your website
They use a link on your website. We set up their account and address in Plugchoice from the details you already have. How Link works
Auto Connect sets up the charger
The owner downloads our app and uses Auto Connect, which we support for the most popular chargers. We fetch the connected back offices, whitelist the charge cards and fetch the past sessions straight away.

The owner gives you access
Through OAuth 2.0: the owner gives you access with one tap, and you read their sessions through the API. In the Netherlands the owner picks you from the list of credit aggregators in the app.
Own app?
The owner taps Add charger in your app
Your app already knows who they are and where the charger is.
Our SDK opens Auto Connect in your app
It fetches the connected back offices, whitelists the charge cards and fetches the past sessions, under your name.

Credit aggregators on Plugchoice
Plugchoice does not register carbon credits itself, in any country. We supply the data and do not compete with you for the owner. See the Dutch credit aggregators on the integration list
Questions from credit aggregators
It depends on volume and is agreed per credit aggregator. Ask us and you get a proposal.
Those of owners who gave you access, for the chargers on their account. You can also read sessions from before the consent, back to the day the charger was connected to Plugchoice.
It is set per charger model. True or false when the model is known to have or lack a MID meter, empty when we do not know it.
The charger has to be connected to Plugchoice, by the owner or their installer. Its back office keeps working. After that the owner gives you access in the app.
By commission, lowest first. Each entry shows the commission, the contract term and how often you pay out.
