Charging data for carbon credits.

In several European countries, the renewable electricity you charge earns carbon credits, which fuel suppliers buy to meet their targets. Each country sets its own rules on who can claim them, whether charging at home counts and which meter you need. Plugchoice records every session with the kWh from your charger, and you can export your sessions as CSV, Excel or PDF.

Questions about carbon credits

Nothing. Recording and exporting your sessions is free. In the Netherlands the credit aggregator you choose takes a commission, and the app shows it before you choose.

That depends on the country. In the Netherlands you need a MID meter in the charger. In Austria the measured kWh count with a calibrated meter in the charger, and in Lithuania a meter that can be read remotely is enough. Ask your credit aggregator what it accepts.

For some chargers we can still fetch earlier sessions. Connect your charger and you see right away what came through.

No. Plugchoice records your sessions and you can export them. A credit aggregator registers them in your country's scheme, or you do it yourself where the rules allow it.
