DAEI without taking over the charger.
In Lithuania a telkėjas registers the charging of homes and businesses as DAEI units. Plugchoice reads the sessions next to the existing back office, so the owner keeps the charger's own app and its smart charging.
For telkėjai: sessions of every brand
Several telkėjai now point the charger at their own OCPP server, and the owner loses the maker's app and smart charging. With Plugchoice the charger keeps one connection to us, and we pass it on to every back office that needs it. How the OCPP proxy works
- The owner keeps the charger's appThe existing back office keeps running, next to yours.
- One API for every brandStart, stop, kWh, connector and card per charge point, in one format.
- Access with consentThe owner gives you access through OAuth 2.0 and can revoke it.
- Teltonika and ElintaThe local brands connect through OCPP; they have no Auto Connect yet.
For owners
Choose a telkėjas and ask whether they can read your sessions through Plugchoice. In the app you see every session yourself.
- No MID meter neededA meter that can be read remotely is enough.
- Every session in the appWith its kWh and time, and your charger's own app keeps working.
- Export when you wantYour sessions as a CSV, Excel or PDF file.
How DAEI works in Lithuania
Since 2026 charging at home counts, through a telkėjas that groups at least 25 separate grid connections. Each owner gives consent in the ESO self-service, and the kWh are reported as a monthly total per charge point, capped by the ESO reading. Checked in October 2026. DAEI in the knowledge base

No. Plugchoice records the sessions, and with your consent your telkėjas can read them through our API. The telkėjas registers the units and pays you under your contract.
Not in Lithuania. Choosing in the app works in the Netherlands only. Here you sign up with a telkėjas yourself.
