Kredity v doprave: monthly kWh for every charge point.

Since September 2026 the operator of a charging station registers green kWh with OKTE. Plugchoice delivers the kWh of every charge point per month, for chargers of every brand, as an export.

What counts

One credit is one kWh of green electricity, at a free price. The operator of the charging station asks for the credits; there is no aggregator role.

  • Green kWh onlyOwn generation at the same connection point, or grid power with a guarantee of origin (záruka pôvodu).
  • A monthly reading per charge pointReported before the sixth working day of the next month.
  • Claims for 2026 until March 2027Every month since September 2026 counts.
  • A calibrated meterThe law asks for an určené meradlo. Whether a MID meter in the charger counts is still open.

What Plugchoice delivers

Every charger of the site in one web portal, of any brand, next to the back office you already use. For car parks and for charge point operators that run chargers for others.

  • Every session per chargerStart, stop, kWh, connector and card, kept per charger and per site.
  • Export per monthThe sessions as a CSV, Excel or PDF file, ready to add up per charge point.
  • A REST API with OAuth 2.0For the account holder who reads the kWh into their own system.
  • Next to your back officeThe charger keeps one connection to Plugchoice, and we pass it on to the back office that bills.

How the scheme works in Slovakia

Fuel suppliers in Slovakia buy transport credits to meet their obligation. OKTE issues them to the operator of a charging station, for the green kWh charged, from September 2026; private and public stations both count. Charging at home counts too, but each owner registers with OKTE themselves. Whether OKTE accepts a company that manages other people's chargers as the operator is still open, and so is whether a MID meter in the charger counts as an určené meradlo. Checked in October 2026. That is not confirmed. Plugchoice delivers the kWh per charge point per month with the charger's meter reading; check with OKTE which reading they ask for.

Nothing. The platform is free for every charger, location and user, and so is the export. See pricing

Yes, but the owner registers with OKTE as the operator of the station and becomes the account holder themselves. Plugchoice has no offer for that today.

OCPP chargers of 348 brands work with Plugchoice, depending on model, firmware and configuration.
