In short
- Does charging count?
- Public charge points and some business sites, not homes
- Do measured kWh from a home charger count?
- No
- Since when?
- No date set.
The scheme
- Name
- Kredity (zákon 165/2012 Sb., § 47e)
- In English
- Credits for renewable electricity in transport
- Who earns
- Only renewable electricity from a licensed producer at the same connection point as a registered charging station; grid electricity at a wallbox never counts, and households fall outside. The start was postponed on 17 June 2026 because the implementing decree is missing.
- Who may bundle
- Nobody: a closed list of account holders (the station operator and fuel suppliers).
- What has to be measured
- A calibrated sub-meter for generation and charging, netted per calendar month; no flat rate.
- What it is worth
- One credit is 1 kWh; the CO2 value per kWh waits for the decree.
Other rules for charging
- Employer reimbursement of home charging
- No legal rule; kWh from a logbook times the consumption in the technical certificate is accepted.
What Plugchoice does here
Plugchoice records every session per charger with start, stop and kWh, and exports it as CSV, Excel or PDF, next to the back office you already use.
