What we cover

The industry we work in every day: charger makers and models, OCPP and OCPI, charging software, and the companies across the value chain. Each piece is labelled News or Blog, so you know whether you are reading a report or our own take.

How we report and source

We prefer original sources. Where we can, we confirm a claim with the company involved and say so in the piece. When a story builds on someone else's reporting, we credit and link it. We keep fact apart from analysis, and we say so when we could not verify something.

Who writes

The articles come from the people who build Plugchoice. Their profiles are on the authors page.

Commercial interests

Plugchoice is run by Volt Time B.V., which also sells EV chargers. We write about competitors, partners and suppliers alike. Where a story touches our own commercial interest, the article says so. Coverage is not for sale and never depends on a commercial relationship.
