What Laadloon is and why it runs well on Plugchoice
Laadloon is a licensed booking service provider (inboekdienstverlener) for the Dutch ERE scheme, operated under Compliance2Cash B.V. ERE stands for emissiereductie-eenheid, an Emission Reduction Unit: one unit equals one kilogram of CO2-equivalent emissions saved. Charging an electric car on a station with a MID-certified meter produces these units, and fuel suppliers are obliged to buy them to meet their fuel transition targets, so they carry real value. Laadloon registers them with the Dutch Emissions Authority (NEa) through the Register Energie voor Vervoer and pays the proceeds back to the charger owner, minus its commission.
Plugchoice sits between your chargers and Laadloon. The charger stays connected to your own backoffice through the OCPP Proxy, while Plugchoice normalizes the session data across every charger brand and hands Laadloon one clean, verified feed. The owner authorizes Laadloon once and the certificates flow on their own from there.

What is ERE?

Do I need a special meter?

How does Laadloon get my charging data?
Through Plugchoice. You authorize Laadloon once, and Plugchoice sends it verified session data over the API, normalized across every charger brand. There is nothing to export by hand.
Can I keep my existing backoffice?
Yes. The OCPP Proxy keeps your charger connected to your current backoffice while Plugchoice supplies the ERE data to Laadloon at the same time. Plugchoice runs in parallel and does not disrupt it.
Can I switch booking providers later?
Yes. Plugchoice stays connected and keeps supplying verified session data, so you can change or add a booking provider whenever you want, without touching the charger or your existing backoffice.
