Yes. Tap Electric publishes a free tier at GBP 0.00 per month for unlimited chargers. It is funded on the other side of the transaction: drivers without a Tap Electric subscription pay up to 10% on top of your tariff.
How much does Tap Electric cost?
The platform tier is free to the owner. The published add-ons are GBP 2.00 per charger per month for Charge AI dynamic load balancing, GBP 15.00 per terminal per month for contactless payment terminals, and GBP 15.00 per year for the SIM and data plan.
Is Plugchoice really free?
The platform is free: charger management, monitoring, logging, cards and transactions all cost EUR 0, and dynamic load balancing is included. Optional modules like Smart Charging and Billing are paid, and those prices are public.
