How to connect an Easee from the Easee app
Open the Easee app
Go to the charger's location in the Easee app and open the operator settings.

Easee is a Norwegian charger brand known for compact, lightweight hardware and built-in dynamic load balancing. The range runs from the One to the Charge Core, Up, Max, Lite and Pro, up to 22 kW three-phase.

Does Easee work with Plugchoice?
Yes. Easee chargers connect by selecting Plugchoice as the operator inside the Easee app. The charger then comes online in Plugchoice with no separate configuration tool.
Which Easee models are supported?
The One, Charge Core, Charge Up, Charge Max, Charge Lite and Charge Pro. They all connect the same way, through the Easee app.
Do I need a websocket URL or a commissioning tool?
No. You pick Plugchoice as operator in the Easee app, so there is no manual websocket URL and no vendor-specific commissioning step.
Can I keep another backoffice?
Yes. With the OCPP Proxy, an Easee can talk to Plugchoice and an existing backoffice at the same time, without disruption.
Can drivers use the Plugchoice app with an Easee?
Yes. Once connected, the end-user gets the Plugchoice app to start, stop and monitor charging, the same as on any other brand you manage.
Does Plugchoice do load balancing on an Easee?
Yes. With a meter on the location, Plugchoice balances the Easee against the building's live power. Easee also has its own built-in balancing.
Is it free to manage an Easee in Plugchoice?
Charger management on Plugchoice is free, including the app, diagnostics, cards and transactions. Power management and tariff modules are paid options you can add per charger.
