ChargeGuru and Zeplug have retired both brands and operate as Tohmo from October 1, 2026. The two companies have worked together since their merger in November 2023, and the name change completes it. Co-founder Nicolas Banchet told the trade press that two brands made no sense once the group presented jointly.

Zeplug was known from 2014 for charging in apartment blocks, ChargeGuru for homes, companies and fleets. Tohmo covers all of it in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal and the UK, and claims about 100,000 charge points installed. Automobile Propre reports a mix of about 40 percent condominiums, 40 percent companies and 20 percent houses, and targets of 100,000 condominiums and 10 million connected parking spaces in Europe by 2030. Plugchoice tracks operators like this one in its operator directory.

Existing customers keep their current offers and the teams stay in place, the group says. Tohmo says it also looks at V2G and energy storage over the longer term.
