Easee chargers can now connect to Plugchoice in a few taps

Easee now supports selecting Plugchoice as operator. Installers, CPOs and resellers can bring Easee chargers online in the Plugchoice platform without a technical detour, straight from the Easee app.

Easee chargers can now connect to Plugchoice in a few taps

Easee chargers can now be connected to Plugchoice directly through the Easee app. For installers, CPOs and resellers who already work with Easee, that removes a small but annoying piece of friction: customers can select Plugchoice as operator inside the app, after which the charger comes online in the Plugchoice platform. No separate configuration tool, no manual websocket URL, no installer-portal handover.

It sounds simple, and that is exactly the point. Connecting a charger to the right operating platform should not feel like a technical side quest. In practice, these handovers often happen at the worst possible moment: during installation, right before delivery, or when a customer is already standing next to the charger waiting to use it. A few taps in the Easee app is easier to explain, easier to repeat across a fleet, and easier to support when something needs adjusting afterwards.

Useful for installers and CPOs working with Easee

Easee already explains how a location manager can be selected in Easee Control. With Plugchoice now available as an operator option, Easee chargers can be linked to Plugchoice without a complicated detour or a vendor-specific commissioning script.

For installers, that means fewer return trips and less back-and-forth after the charger is placed. For CPOs, it makes onboarding cleaner when Easee chargers are part of a mixed portfolio managed alongside other supported brands. For resellers, it gives a clearer answer to a question that comes up surprisingly often: "Can this charger work with Plugchoice?"

Yes, it can. And now in a few taps.

Built for the messy middle of EV charging

The EV charging market is not short on platforms, apps and configuration steps. Most of the pain is not in one big technical problem; it is in the small steps that have to line up: the charger, the customer, the installer, the operator and the OCPP backoffice. When any one of those is awkward, the whole experience feels heavy.

This integration smooths exactly one of those steps. Easee chargers can be connected to Plugchoice from inside the Easee app, so the charger comes online in Plugchoice with less manual handling, and from there the platform takes over for day-to-day operation, remote configuration, and the web portal your customer eventually uses. That matters most when teams manage multiple installations a week, or when a reseller wants to offer Easee hardware together with Plugchoice's charging software and service layer.

It also fits the way Plugchoice has always approached the market: as an open, OCPP-first platform that meets chargers where they are, rather than asking installers to bend the install around the software.

Selling Easee and looking for an operator setup?

Installers, CPOs and resellers selling Easee can now offer Plugchoice as a practical operator option. The setup works everywhere Easee and Plugchoice are used, and it keeps the connection flow close to where the customer already is: inside the Easee app.
