Edenred completed its acquisition of The Mobility House Solutions, the business unit behind the ChargePilot depot and fleet charging management platform, reported closed around August 3, 2026 (electrive.com), with the entity continuing as Edenred E-Mobility GmbH. The deal was first announced in June 2026; both companies said at signing that contracts, contacts and the Munich headquarters would not change, and that the ChargePilot and "The Mobility House Solutions" names stay in use. Under the original split, Edenred takes the ChargePilot business for Europe and Latin America, while The Mobility House keeps the software for North America and Asia-Pacific. It is Edenred's second publicly announced EV charging-software acquisition, after Spirii in 2024.
North America has since moved again. On August 6, 2026, EDF-backed PowerFlex and The Mobility House North America announced they are combining in a share exchange, with The Mobility House taking a minority stake in the resulting company. The companies say they expect to integrate their software platforms over time; neither their release nor Edenred's says anything about ChargePilot specifically changing hands there, so treat that detail as open rather than settled.
None of this is a service problem for anyone running ChargePilot today. The point worth taking from it is ownership churn, not degraded service: the charge points on a depot do not move when the company behind the software does, but the roadmap, pricing and support desk can, and twice inside three months is a reminder of how often that happens in this market. An OCPP-based backend is built around exactly that risk, so a depot can change who runs its back office without touching a single charge point.
