Price Rules

Version 2026-2, published 2026-10-30. It applies to accounts created from 2026-10-30 and to existing accounts from 2026-11-30.

These rules set how the amounts in our prices at plugchoice.com/pricing are counted and applied (General Terms clause 3.4). A price in a quotation, Order Confirmation or signed individual agreement prevails.

1. Smart Charging: how we count

Smart Charging is priced per unit as the Charger reports it over OCPP: each connector under OCPP 1.6, each EVSE under OCPP 2.x; under a later version the nearest equivalent, otherwise the physical charging point. A DC unit counts as 3 AC units. A unit counts as DC where our charger database lists it as DC or, for a model not listed, where the Charger reports a maximum power above 22 kW; where that listing was wrong, the corrected listing applies (General Terms clause 18.11). A license or subscription bought before these rules applied to the Customer counts DC twice until its first renewal; a Consumer's subscription bought then keeps counting DC twice.

2. Indexation

Each year from 1 January, we may adjust our periodic fees by the year-on-year change in the CBS Consumer Price Index (CPI, all households) for October of the previous year. We apply it to the unrounded fees of the previous year and round only invoice amounts, to whole cents. A zero or negative change leaves fees unchanged. Towards Consumers, this applies as the Consumer Terms provide.

3. Plugchoice SIM

The connection of a Charger to the Platform over a Plugchoice SIM is part of the Platform service for a fixed fee per Charger, within the data and cost limits we set. Within a SIM Budget, the fee is included in the price of the Charger or of our offer for the SIM; otherwise it is EUR 2.50 per Charger per month, excluding VAT for Business Customers, for up to 50 MB of data per month. It is indexed under section 2, and we may raise it when our costs rise and change the limits and the price model, under General Terms Schedule F.14 to F.16.

5. Modules

Modules are bought per unit our prices state, such as a Charger, EVSE, location or account, as a subscription or as a one-off license (General Terms clause 14.1); Smart Charging is counted under section 1.

7. Billing and eMSP

Under the Billing and eMSP Terms:

• a Charging Session counts for Session Compensation from 0.2 kWh, or any amount when paid with Scan to Pay, up to 300 kWh (clause 6.2);
• eMSP costs can include fees per card, per period and per Charging Session (clause 8.1).
